Welcome! I'm Nicolas,
I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself.
My lifelong passion for automobiles was ignited at an early age when I restored my first vehicle—a 1952 Chevy truck. This foundational project sparked an obsession with cars that has driven my entire career and defined my approach to automotive excellence.
After completing my formal training at WyoTech, I embarked on a distinguished 25-year journey in the automotive industry. I spent a decade honing my skills at BMW, where I developed a reputation for precision and technical expertise. Following this, I dedicated another ten years to working at a Ferrari dealership, ultimately serving as Shop Foreman and leading complex service and restoration projects on some of the world’s most coveted automobiles.
My commitment to mastery and continuous improvement earned me the rare honor of competing in the Ferrari Tech Challenge and Testa Rossa Awards four times—a highly competitive and prestigious event held at Ferrari’s factory in Maranello, Italy. In 2019, my exceptional skill and dedication culminated in winning first place, officially earning the title of “Best Ferrari Technician in the World,” an accolade bestowed directly by the Ferrari factory.
In recognition of my career and contributions to the field, I was inducted into the WyoTech Hall of Fame in 2025, a testament to my enduring influence and leadership in the automotive industry.
My passion for cars runs so deep that in my spare time—well, I simply work on cars! This relentless dedication to my craft is the foundation of Scuderia Custode, where every project benefits from my unparalleled expertise and genuine love for the art of automotive care.
